17 June, 2020 – Vienna, Austria – The European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM) has announced its 7th Annual Congress will meet virtually from September 21-25, 2020.

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the European Society for Translational Medicine (EUSTM) has taken the unprecedented step to revise this year’s Congress format. Adapting this year’s Congress to a virtual event, the EUSTM is affirming its commitment to safeguarding the health and safety of its global delegates.

At the historic 7th Annual Congress, international delegates will discuss the current COVID-19 pandemic, assess its unprecedented public health challenges, and develop innovative solutions to problems impacting communities around the world. An interdisciplinary forum of experts, the virtual Congress will focus on the critical principles of translational medicine, including bench side, bedside, and public health, to highlight novel solutions that overcome the critical hurdles of COVID-19.

Representing a unique opportunity for international delegates, attendees will be exposed to information about COVID-19 directly from the pandemic’s frontlines and have an opportunity to harness the power of a global network. With key opinion leaders, medical professionals, and service providers in attendance, the conference presents a groundbreaking opportunity to be part of solutions for one of the most significant public health challenges of our time.

“The EUSTM took this initiative to ensure the health and safety of our global delegates,” remarked Dr. Aamir Shahzad, President of the EUSTM. “During a time of increasing uncertainty and unprecedented global challenge, the EUSTM Congress stands ready to address COVID-19 with innovative solutions. We welcome everyone to take apart in this important international event.”

EUSTM-2020 also invites researchers, investigators, and clinicians from various specialties, as well as industry professionals, to submit abstracts in areas outlined under the conference’s themes and tracks. From the latest COVID-19 developments to COVID-19 molecular medicine, vaccine research, diagnostic testing, and bedside therapeutics, the EUSTM conference creates a unique, multidisciplinary platform for the discussion of findings, advancements, and approaches to COVID-19. Top abstracts will be selected for adaptation into virtual presentations or e-posters.

For a limited time, registration is open to 3,000 international delegates on a first-come, first-serve basis. To learn more about the 7th Annual Virtual EUSTM Conference this September, please visit EUSTM-2020.
