New Collections From Yael Designs Join Fire Opal Collection
San Francisco-based jewelry designer, Yehouda Saketkhou, has announced the launch of his upcoming new jewelry collections due in July of 2020. The designer has many award-winning examples of jewelry as fine art available on the company website. The influence of artists such as Dali, JAR, and Gaudi can be seen in the collections and unique pieces. The designer believes that it is his responsibility to give the creations his best artistic efforts, combined with the highest quality materials. His existing and upcoming collections celebrate life and the beauty of nature.
The Fire Opal Collection is among the pieces which are available and can be viewed on the website. Mexican Fire Opals are noted for their vivid color, which ranges from light red to yellow. Some of the gems will have brownish undertones. It is known that the Mayans and Aztecs used the gem in jewelry, and they called it the ‘Stone of the Bird of Paradise’.” The gemstones are combined with the highest-quality metals, including 18k gold and 950 platinum.
In contrast to the striking reds and oranges of fire opals, the White Opal is a paler, creamy gem.
