Philadelphia, PA – Sheena C. Howard, an Eisner award-winning author, has announced the release of her debut fiction novel, Nina’s Whisper, on Amazon in paperback, audio-book and Kindle eBook formats. Available to retailers through Ingram Spark.

Masterfully written, Nina’s Whisper is an intimate story of a young woman, Nina Chandler, who seeks to fill the one missing element of a near-perfect life — love. But crossing paths with an older woman, Page Bell, whose edgy personality and free spirit catches her off guard, Nina soon begins to ignore small red flags that rise and fall, but for which ultimately show there is no perfect love. A novel filled with vivid themes and portrayals of love, romance, selfish recklessness, control, and betrayal, readers follow Nina’s journey as she hushes voices of doubt between her and her aspirations. At the same time, she navigates a tumultuous relationship filled with manipulation and gaslighting until it all spins completely out of control.

A unique portrayal of same-sex interpersonal dynamics set in Sumneytown, Texas, Nina’s Whisper is a raw, emotional, and captivating story of love, hurt, and loss. Bringing awareness to same-gender domestic struggles and trends, Nina and Page show such hardships are not unique to male and female relationships.

For every copy sold between April 19 and May 19, 2020, Sheena C. Howard will donate one-dollar to Womanspace, Inc., a leading non-profit agency in Mercer County, New Jersey, that provides vital services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
