Now Seeking Community Support via Kickstarter. This Project is Founded by Science & Technology Experts Ravi Corea and Sunil Ratnayake!

Ravi Corea and Sunil Ratnayake are both internationally experienced experts in science, technology, education and research. Having worked in diverse areas from research to technology applications, they are passionate about sharing their knowledge. The inspiring duo from Melbourne, Australia have created an innovative science kit called Scisizz (Sizzling Science) they have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support for this inspiring project.

This science kit contains materials and instructions for more than 50 hands on experiments to be performed at home. This terrific package is designed for eight to fourteen year olds, and it is by far the best scientific equipment for the children to create a laboratory at home. With  support from the recently launched Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, Ravi and Sunil plan to fund the full scale production of the Scisizz Kits. Economy of scale, they say, is critical to keeping costs down..

“The experiments in this kit include a range of STEM disciplines and applications including biology, physics, chemistry, engineering, electricity, robotics and magnetism.” Said Ravi Corea, one of the two co-founders of this project, in his introduction to the Kickstarter community.“Our kit is aimed at supporting the middle school curriculum, which includes fun, but highly educational experiments on generating electricity with lemons, creating water-powered rockets, extracting your own DNA at home and making hydraulic appliances.” he added.

Scisizz, is an innovative science kit, full of wonderful hands on experiments to be performed at home. It is the perfect means of learning during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Learning through activities develops fine motor skills, brings in confidence and makes the children think, observe and analyse.

The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at: The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to raise a sum of US$ 71,459  and the creators of this project are offering a wide range of rewards for the backers with worldwide shipping. Further details are available on the Kickstarter campaign page.
